PTA Red Sox Night
The PTA will hold a fundraiser on Friday June 1st at the Salem Red Sox game. The PTA will receive a % of funds when you purchase a ticket. Watch for more details to come.
NO SCHOOL
School will be closed Friday May 25th & Monday May 28th.
Activities After School
Any student who remains after school for any activity must have a note for EACH time/activity.
Attendance
Please remember children must be in Homebase by 7:50 AM each morning. If arriving after 7:50
AM they must report to the office and receive a tardy slip.
PENN FOREST GO GREEN BAGS
Don't forget to pick up your Penn Forest Go Green Bags, Great for shopping! One bag is $3.00 or two for $5.00.
Tissue Donations are Welcome
Due to the fact that we are facing an unusual year of influenza like illnesses, good hygiene is essential in preventing the transmission of viruses and bacteria. Ideally, best practice is to have tissues in every classroom to have available to cover mouths and noses for coughing and sneezing. Tissue donations are welcome and would be very much appreciated throughout the school year. Thank you in advance for your assistance in maintaining a healthy school environment.
Kroger Cards
Don't forget to use your Penn Forest Kroger Card each time you shop for groceries, gift cards and when you purchase gas. Kroger Cards also make great gifts. You can find order forms on the PFES web site under Parent Resources, Fundraiser Info.
TARGET
Did you know that Target donates up to 1% of your REDcard purchases to Penn Forest Elementary if you sign up on the Target website? All you need to do is go to www.target.com/tcoe
and enroll your REDcard. You can choose Penn Forest Elementary from the list of schools and once you are enrolled, anytime you use your Target REDcard, Penn Forest Elementary will receive 1% of your purchase.
A few weeks ago we received a check from Target for over $300! If you havent signed up, please consider signing up now!
