Bonsack Elementary Receives $2,500 Grant From Rescuing Recess Program

Bonsack Elementary has received a $2,500 grant from the Rescuing Recess program to help purchase physical education equipment. The Bonsack PTA assisted in securing this grant.

Rescuing Recess is a partnership with the National PTA and Cartoon Network to champion the importance of recess for kids and help keep and revitalize it in schools across the country.

"We're so grateful to our PTA and the Rescuing Recess Program for this grant," said Principal Deedie Kagey. "Keeping our children physically active is an important part of their overall education," Kagey added.
