PTA reminder: The final pick up day for the Classic Cookie fundraiser will be on Thursday May 16 from 2:30 -6. We do not have refrigerator space to hold items so they must be picked up. This is the final delivery from the company and refunds will not be given. Please make arrangements to pick up your items.
Tonight at 7:00PM is PTA Awards night followed by a performance showcasing the MVE choir.
Don't forget that the annual MVE Talent Show is just around the corner and auditions begin TOMORROW, May 15 after school!!! A sign-up sheet for audition times is outside the music room. Students will not be allowed to audition unless they have signed up!! And they must be on time and prepared for their audition. Auditions will take place afterschool from 2:30-3:30 on Wednesday and Friday May 15 and 17. Our theme for this year’s show is, “Ready, Set, SHINE!”
All library books are due on May 24.
Parents of 3rd and 5th grade students, if you have not already completed the student information sheet, please update and return as soon as possible to your child’s homeroom teacher. Also, if there are no changes in information please write “no changes” and return. Thank you.
SOL testing continues this week! Protein filled breakfasts and early bedtimes make a great start for testing days. This week our 3-5 graders will be taking Social Studies and Science tests. (4th grade – Va. Studies only, 5th grade Science only) Please refer to previously sent SOL schedule.
